Why order matters

The general order

1. Cleanser — start with a clean base.
2. Toner or essence (optional) — light hydration.
3. Serums — thinnest actives first, such as vitamin C, niacinamide or hyaluronic acid.
4. Moisturiser — seals in the previous steps.
5. Sunscreen — always the last step in the morning.
